I highly recommend bidding on low keywords per click, unless you have a nice budget to compete with many high dollar folks just to get the top ranking keyword, thus making these major search engines plenty of money.Just learn step by step with any function in your business in detail and overcome shortcuts while gaining knowledge about keywords. Rule of thumb, know the little details first and then move to the next phase of internet marketing. Learn one thing at a time and ask many questions because it will save you alot of time and headaches down the road.
